Special Interest Group (SIG) Meetings
Special Interest Groups are formed by members who have common interests in researching and discussing topics of specific interest, for example Genealogy. To start a SIG, all you need to do is to propose it at one of our General Meetings (3rd Monday of the Month) and see if others share your interest. Managing SIG meetings, selecting topics of discussion, maintaining membership lists, etc., are the responsibility of the SIG members. To sponsor a SIG to function as part of FCCUG, the club requires that each SIG presents a brief quarterly report on its progress at one of our General Meetings. For 2008-2009 there are as yet no SIGs formed.
